课题研究：如何在具体的语言环境中学习英语一、背景：随着社会的进步与发展，国与国之间，人与人之间的交流也越来越频繁，就拿舟山来说，随着舟山旅游事业的发展，来这里游玩、观光的旅客一年胜过一年，在街上看到外国人已不是一件奇怪的事了。正是由于世界在不断的缩小，那么作为国际通用语的英语的地位也就可想而知了。据统计中国学英语的人数是世界其他说英语国家人数的三倍。这个比例是令大家思索的。既然有这么多的人在学英语，那么学好英语的人究竟有多少呢？为什么，有的人学出了成效；为什么，有的人却一无所成呢？这就讲究一个方法问题。我们这一代是幸运的一代。因为我们能在小学阶段就接触到英语。那么怎样才能使同学们学好英语，打好扎实的基础呢？这就是我们要研究的课题——如何在具体的语言环境中学习英语。
二、目的和意义：
英语环境与英语学习有着密不可分的关系。在语言环境中耳濡目染，才能真正 “活学”，掌握语音、词汇、句型、思维和文化。所以，在接下来的研究中，我们希望通过网上资料查找，书面资料查找，问卷调查，实地调查（深入英语角感受英语环境）等等的研究方法，全体组员共同努力，研究英语环境与英语学习的关系，将良好的英语环境与不科学的语言环境进行对比，找出比较适合中国学生的学习英语的方法，通过各种形式的宣传，来提高人们对英语环境的重视，自觉寻找良好的学习环境，甚至自发的创造良好的英语环境。从而提高学习效率，使我们英语学习者的学习成绩达到质的飞跃！
三、主要事项及主要成果：
1、在网上和各书刊杂志上查询各有用的资料。
2、访问我校成绩较好的同学，询问他们平时英语学习的方法及英语学习的良好良好习惯。
4、拟定一份调查问卷，发于各班同学的手中，作调查主要也是针对英语学习方面。包括对英语的重视程度，学英语的兴趣，课外学习英语的时间以及他们的英语成绩等。

我们小组基本上完成并达到了研究的预期目的。主要成果如下：
英语环境包括两个方面。首先: 接收的是英语信息；其次:英语信息量大。二者缺一不可。现很多学校教学仍以中英语混合，而许多人则认为,只要是全英文授课,就是英语环境,就能建立英语思维，其实也不然。母语思维(即所谓的理解)是一种本能思维.如果信息量小,即使是全英语授课,他也会本能的用汉语来翻译。实质是用汉语思维来学英语，不可能建立英语思维。只有在良好的语言环境中才能真正建立英语环境。 以“如何在具体的语言环境中学习英语”这个课题来说吧，开始还不知道它有何意义，自开学到现在，我们小组已取得了预期的成果，这个过程带给我们许多学习的情趣和全新的感受。
首先，转变学习观念，改变学习方式。以我的小组而言吧,我们选择研究如何在具体的语言环境中学习英语。虽然这个问题被前人研究了不知多少遍，但是，真是搞起来，要多方面考虑，还要收集有关资料，再加以运用，这自然会遇到许多麻烦，它给我们很大创新空间和实践机会，转变我们对学习和生活缺少独立思考新发现的一些依赖观念，改变我们“死读书”的学习方式，创造另一种学习的风气，营造更优越的学习环境。这对学习科学文化的学生来说也是一个运用科学知识解决问题的良好机会。
其次，促进同事学会交流，学会合作。这个我在学习研究中有切身的体会，像哪个同事有何特长、爱好，对事情处理的态度，协作能力如何，这都很容易在研究性学习过程中反映出来。我作为本组的组员之一，有时在执行分配工作过于疏忽，执意按自己的意愿去做，结果造成某些缺漏和过失。幸好还不算严重，否则我真无地自容，组员也没有责怪于我，反而给我补遗拾漏。我想，这不仅仅是一种责任，还有我们感情的桥梁在起着作用吧。这段日子，我们一起外出调查，一起查阅资料，一起总结分析，一起解决问题。经历了如此之多，组员之间不知不觉中建立了友谊，加深升华了友谊，这对以后的生活和学习无疑会起巨大的作用。
我们通过研究性学习的实践，激发了自由创新的热情，培养了独立思考、探究新事物的科学精神，同时提高了我们协作能力和社会交际能力，正好填补了我们在课堂上学习的不足。我想这是研究性学习的最大意义。
四、研究感想：
我们通过这次研究深深地认识到研究课题需要同事们的共同努力，而不是靠个人或指导者来解决。通过全体组员共同努力，研究英语环境与英语学习的关系，将良好的英语环境与不科学的语言环境进行对比，找出比较适合中国学生的学习英语的方法，通过各种形式的宣传，来提高人们对英语环境的重视，自觉寻找良好的学习环境，甚至自发的创造良好的英语环境。
